Photography as Sculpture (Carlsen 47)
Take a photograph of your own body (i.e. your leg, arm or chest). The photograph needs to have a feel of abstractness. Then make an object from it using a non-photographic material (i.e., clay or metal).
Make thirty-six unique, beautiful photographs of one piece of white bond paper. Your goal is to make something beautiful from nothing.
Consider the following:
Equivalents
Abstraction
Expressionism
Line, Space, Shape, Form
Chairoscuro
You may not cut or tear the paper, but you can fold it, roll it, or crumple it... Explore lighting and change the lighting for each photography.
